Kitchen sink is undoubtedly one of the most ignored areas of a kitchen. While the other areas of kitchen receive considerable attention, sink is often left neglected. After all, one just has to dump soiled plates in them. A clean kitchen is something desired by all, however very few manage to get it. One cannot get a clean sink by washing it occasionally, it has to be on a daily basis. How to Clean Kitchen Sink?
There exists various ways to keep your kitchen sink clean. Some of the most effective methods are as follows:
Scrub the sink – Scrubbing is by far one of the most effective methods to clean kitchen sink. This not only eliminates germ and bacteria but also helps in getting rid of soap deposits. To scrub a kitchen sink, just take a bowl of warm water and pour some dish washing liquid in it. Use a sponge and scrub the kitchen sink clean!
White porcelain sink – To bring back the shine of white porcelain sink, just line up the sink with paper towels and soak them with bleach. Discard the paper towels after 30 minutes and wash the sink with running water.
Coloured porcelain sink – Adopt the same method as white porcelain sink, however instead of bleach use baking soda or mild liquid detergent. Bleach may cause colour to fade away.
Stainless Steel Sink – Clean the sink with hot soap water and polish it with a clean towel. Make sure the sink is dry. Now sprinkle the sink with flour and with the help of a paper towel polish/rub the flour throughout the sink. Keep polishing and you will notice that the kitchen sink is becoming shiny again!
